A 3-day gorilla trekking safari in Uganda offers a lifetime opportunity to meet the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe/Kampala. Drive through the rolling hills, lush farmlands, and traditional homesteads of southwestern Uganda. Enjoy a stopover at the Equator for photographs and souvenirs. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, arriving in the evening.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Begin your trek into the forest in search of a gorilla family. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours depending on gorilla movements. Once you find them, spend one magical hour observing their behavior, interactions, and movements. Later, return to the lodge for relaxation. Optional evening Batwa community visit for cultural immersion.

Day 3: Return to Entebbe/Kampala
